Vili (also known as Hoenir) is Odin's brother and son of Borr and Bestla.  He fights alongside Odin in the Aesir-Vanir war.  After the war, he is sent as an emissary to live in Vanaheim.

Hoenir and Lodur are named as Odin's brothers in the Poetic Eddas, where Vili and Ve are the names used in Snorri Sturluson's Prose Eddas.
