The Valkenhaus family's annual Midsummer takes place on South Bass Island in 2016. Lunch at Hooligans, island fun, nature trails, and Put in Bay's annual Pyrate Festival. Friends and Norhalla business associates attend as well! Some people played after lunch, dressed up and took part in the pirate games and activities! 

We rode the ferries from the mainland to South Bass Island and gathered at Hooligans for lunch.

It was a fantastic day for the Valkenhaus and Norhalla crew! The afternoon was spent exploring and enjoying the island, seeing Perry's Monument, the limestone caves, nature trails, and the little ones enjoyed the butterfly house and playing at the park.
