Norhalla Crew Visits Longship Classroom

Norhalla crew had a great time at the 13th annual Ashville Viking Festival! We are pictured on the Misplaced Vikings mobile Viking Longship classroom, under construction. Be sure to support them at AshvilleVikingFest.com!
There was anything and everything "Viking", so there was a variety of furs, leathers, swords, axes, and imaginative themes and outfits! I found it refreshing to see the mix of anything from pre-history to out of time Vikings, gypsies and witches, pirates and steampunk, and various medieval themes. It was very festive!

There were performers and demonstrations going on throughout the day, including jugglers, fire breathing, singing of all kinds, and turkey legs the size of a pterodactyl!

Games, face painting, interactive hands-on learning were just some of the many activities for the little Vikings too!

We shopped, enjoyed the shows, the blacksmith made items for us, and then we continued the day with sword fighting techniques and jousting!
