Norhalla's 5th Annual Ragnar's Day 2017 Viking Games!
Norhalla's 5th annual celebration of Ragnar's Day took place over Easter weekend with Viking Games! The events included a casting contest, knife throwing, kayak race, rock toss, obstacle course, Sleipnir's shoe toss, and everyone's favorite - sword fighting.

The kayak race was tough this year, as we had 20 mph winds all day!
The obstacle course this year had to be run with a raw egg and lost points if you break your egg.

We had a few first-timers in the Ragnar's Day games, and an out of town friend made it!

But before all the fun happens...
We begin our weekend at Viking House social on Friday evening, then set up tents for camping. Saturday morning we helped the Little Vikings paint eggs.
We made or repaired our shields and swords.
Ragnar's Day Easter morning, the eggs are hidden and the Little Vikings find eggs and chocolates!
